Paris: Sacré-Cœur.
The Sacré-Cœur (Sacred Heart) is a Roman Catholic church that is located at the highest point in the city of Paris.
Behind its intricate and awe inspiring design is Paul Abadie. The short yet tiring walk to the top was completely worth it, however. You could see absolutely everything and it was amazing.
This popular landmark is a must for tourists. A lot of space is available for just sitting and relaxing outside. As it gets dark, you can see the soft dim of the church and the city becoming apparent which is remarkable.
The interior of the church is just as intricate as its exterior. Unfortunately, and much to my disappointment, photography was prohibited inside.Therefore, if you do find yourself visiting the church, I urge you to visit the inside and not just loiter around outside. You shan’t be disappointed. (:
