The chemical peel without the chemicals.

Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, This Acid, That Acid… You name it, they’ve got it. Infused with pleasant scents such as Rose, Melissa or the common Lavender, these acids come to make skin peels/chemical peels (whichever tickles your pickle). However, the majority are very particular on what they apply to the skin for many different reasons so is there an alternative to the chemical peel?

Briefly, chemical peels are treatments in which a solution made up of acid is used to treat any damage caused on the outer layer of the skin by being applied with a brush. Different chemical peels are used for different skin issues such as hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, dry or dehydrated skin, acne and so on. They are great to use and have proven to have drastic positive results on the skin for many people. However, they can be time consuming for those looking to include one in their everyday regime and run a risk of not being safe, particularly for pregnant ladies. During pregnancy, the skin is known to change a lot and using a chemical peel is far from the cure, at least not until a short period after the completion of breastfeeding as it runs a huge risk of affecting the babies health.

This is where the Dermaflannel by a skincare company called Bravura London comes in. The Dermaflannel is a completely natural treatment that can be used on the face or the body. It is free of any chemicals whatsoever and it never runs out, because it’s a flannel (duh). It makes a striking difference to the skin as it exfoliates the top layer of it deeply which in turn gets rid of all the useless dead skin cells allowing the skin to really glow thus making a huge difference to the appearance as well as the texture. You can read more about and purchase your Dermaflannel here. (:

I’ve been an avid user for a good number of years now and I strongly feel that it keeps my skin under control and fixes blemishes. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a natural treatment or just something simple. All you’re going to need is water. (:
